3D modeling of a horse flayed from a scan
This project began with a photogrammetric scan of a horse skinned figure, based on multiple photos taken by myself. After cleaning up the scan, the model was refined in ZBrush, where I redefined the details altered by the capture process. I then exported the sculpture to Maya, where I worked on a displacement map to restore as much detail as possible. Finally, the final rendering was done with Arnold in Maya, highlighting the anatomical precision of the model.
